Technical Account Manager

$75,000 - $85,000 yearly

Job Description

July 2026

La Marzocco USA is hiring Technical Account Managers in Atlanta, GA and Spring, TX!

Who We Are

Since 1927, La Marzocco has been at the forefront of espresso machine craftsmanship. We blend Italian artisan heritage with a genuine passion for coffee culture, and we bring that same care to how we support our customers, our partners, and our people. With our U.S. headquarters in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood and a growing national presence, we are committed to the craft of hospitality, the pride of service, and the continued advancement of the specialty coffee industry. We bring that same dedication to how we invest in our people and support our partners.

The Role

We're looking for Technical Account Managers for two regions: South Central Region, based out of Spring, TX (a suburb of Houston), and Southeast Region, based out of Atlanta, GA. Both spots are exciting and fast-growing specialty coffee markets! You'll be working directly with technicians, roasters, and coffee professionals to deliver training, provide expert technical guidance, and ensure the highest standards of product knowledge and customer satisfaction across the region. This is a dynamic, field-facing position that combines technical expertise with education, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is a seasoned specialty coffee professional who excels at building trust, communicating complex technical concepts clearly, and representing La Marzocco with professionalism and expertise.

What you’ll do

  • Be the regional technical expert. Serve as the trusted resource for third-party technicians, providing mentorship, product education, and ongoing technical development.
  • Lead training programs. Facilitate in-person technical training classes across the region for individuals and groups.
  • Support sales and marketing. Collaborate with regional sales, marketing, and management teams at trade shows, events, and partner visits.
  • Strengthen partner relationships. Work alongside the Regional Sales Rep to keep partners highly satisfied, engaged, and supported.
  • Solve recurring issues. Partner with the Technical Solutions team to identify and resolve systemic support challenges.
  • Run the local training center. Manage the local training lab, keep equipment in top condition, and maintain local parts inventory.

Who You Are

  • You've spent 3–5 years deep in specialty coffee: Running a café and managing equipment issues, training baristas and/or techs, and genuinely understanding how a traditional espresso machine functions within a demanding café environment.
  • You're comfortable getting your hands dirty and figuring things out. Tools and repairs don't intimidate you. You get satisfaction from tracking down the root cause of a problem.
  • You've stood in front of a room and taught people things, and they successfully learned and implemented the skills you taught.
  • You're organized and self-directed. You're comfortable managing your own schedule across a large territory. You are a strong collaborator and proactively share observations and ideas with your team.
  • You know your way around Microsoft Office, Salesforce (or similar CRM), and SAP or comparable inventory tools.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, whether you're writing a service bulletin, presenting at a trade show, or collaborating with your team.
  • You hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Big plus: You already know La Marzocco's product lineup inside and out.
  • Another big plus: You're bilingual in English and Spanish.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
  • Performance Bonus: 5% annual bonus opportunity
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Generous paid time off
  • Reimbursement program for qualifying green and wellness purchases

Logistics

  • Location: Spring, TX -or- Atlanta, GA
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with flexibility for evenings and weekends for events and trainings
  • Travel: Up to 30% within the Region
  • Reports to: Director of Technical Services
