How you’ll have an impact at La Marzocco:
The Commercial Sales Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to La Marzocco USA’s Commercial Sales Team across all USA territories, enabling Regional Sales Reps to focus on relationship development, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role will ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports, facilitate communication with clients, and help maintain well-organized sales processes. The Commercial Sales Coordinator reports to the National Sales Director and serves as their internal advocate to work with multiple departments across the organization and ensure La Marzocco’s standard for customer experience.
A typical day as a Sales Coordinator might include a mix of the following:
· Assisting the Sales Team with various duties as assigned, up to and including: researching prospective customers and opportunities for La Marzocco machines, organizing and maintaining current sales collateral materials, territory coverage for staff vacations, meeting and event attendance, scheduling, agenda prep and meeting minutes for Sales team meetings, Sales team expense report tracking and reporting.
· Analyzing inbound leads and reporting on KPIs such as Lead Response Time, Conversion rates, etc. Consider value of lead and assign to appropriate regional sales representative.
· Maintaining competitive knowledge of marketplace, monitoring consumer reaction to La Marzocco products, and leveraging product knowledge to influence and recommend sales strategy and tactics. Report on market research and data to develop new opportunities and sales insights and initiatives.
· Hosting customers and prospects for commercial machine and grinder sales in Seattle HQ Showroom. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of La Marzocco Commercial machine products by leading product demonstrations for sales prospects and customers.
· Working on-site in Ballard with Logistics, Customer Support/Operations, and Solutions Departments to provide exceptional customer experience and support to Sales Reps in the field.
The details:
· Location: Seattle, WA, on-site at La Marzocco USA HQ in Ballard
· Salary Range: $34.00-$38.00/hour depending on experience, with 5% bonus opportunity
· Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week. Occasionally, there will be a need for additional hours based upon increased workload demands.
· Reports to: National Sales Director
· Physical requirements: Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, walking at a quick pace, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 25 pounds
· Travel: Ability to Travel up to 15% Nationally, ability for some international travel.
What you’ll bring to the table:
· An extensive espresso background including experience conducting coffee equipment training sessions and presentations in the specialty coffee industry. Extensive knowledge of La Marzocco espresso machines and parts.
· Passion for coffee and a deep appreciation for La Marzocco's brand and heritage. Experience in B2B & distribution business model, specialty coffee and equipment industries preferred.
· Strong public speaking, writing and presentation skills. Strong negotiation skills and ability to present effectively to groups at all organizational levels.
· High degree of organization and time management. Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities. Can work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that is very customer-centric.
· Ability to work in a team-based environment with flexibility in workflow and daily duties. Basic understanding of principles and processes of customer service.
· Advanced in Microsoft Excel in addition to working level knowledge of other MS Office products such as Word and PowerPoint and Outlook; SAP B1; Adobe Design Suite; Salesforce or other CRM, Social Media and project management systems; and the ability to learn new software.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
