Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Minneapolis warehouse, including inventory management, receiving, shipping, warehouse safety, and team leadership. This role ensures products and supplies are accurately received, stored, and distributed to support production, wholesale, cafés, and internal operations while driving efficiency, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Lead the warehouse team and drivers, including coaching and performance reviews as needed.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels for allied products, boxes, bags, production supplies, and other materials.
• Oversee and Manage regular cycle counts according to scheduled requirements and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain manager for vendor relationship management and item selection.
• Create purchase orders (POs) and compose professional emails for ordering.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing and Operations Support Specialist for item set up and Netsuite updates.
• Oversee and Manage the preparation and shipping of packages for wholesale customers, ensuring accurate, order pulling, packaging and labeling.
• Oversee and Manage shipping logistics.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area and dock to optimize space management.
• Manage building maintenance, coordinating repairs and service calls with vendors as needed.
• Oversee and Manage the unloading of semi-trailers and box trucks using a forklift upon delivery.
• Verify incoming shipments, resolve vendor discrepancies, accurately receive inventory in NetSuite, and ensure products are stored in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Café Operations, Production, and Customer Service teams to anticipate demand shifts, support promotions or launches, and resolve supply-related issues.
• Oversee and Manage continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse organization, space optimization, and material flow.
• Identify supply risks and escalation of potential disruptions to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Provide support to the production team as needed.
• Provide support to the customer service team as needed.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
• 2-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control.
• Forklift operation experience preferred but will train.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly preferred but will train.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with vendors and internal teams.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects above 50lbs and operate a forklift.
• Capability to work in a physically demanding role that requires standing, lifting, and organizing stock regularly.
