Sales & Marketing Specialist

Job Description

Swiss Water Decaffeinated, based in Delta, B.C.,  is looking to fill a newly created role. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will play an important role in creating awareness, use and preference for the Swiss Water® Process within the coffee industry. This position will help roasters to understand our unique value proposition and play a critical role as a bridge between marketing and sales.  

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Create awareness of Swiss Water® Process offerings and quality by engaging coffee roasters through event and sponsorships planning and execution. You will attend various of these events and represent the brand with the goal of making connections and developing leads.
  • Create content to engage the coffee industry and convey our value proposition. This includes filming, photography, writing and/or editing content to be used in a variety of channels, delivered in multiple formats. You will work collaboratively with the broader marketing team to develop an aligned calendar that will deliver key messages to our target audiences.
  • Showcase and enhance partnerships by identifying, planning and executing collaborations with roasters using the Swiss Water® Process
  • Conduct online research and present quarterly reviews
  • Recommend and lead the development and implementation of Sales & Marketing tools to assist in business development and loyalty generation
  • Coordinate the on-site visit experience for customers and visitors
  • Plus other projects and assignments as needed

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the specialty coffee industry, with strong knowledge of the roaster landscape, trends and competition scene
  • College degree preferred; minimum is high school diploma (or GDE) plus relevant work experience

  • Design, writing & editing skills, Adobe Suite preferred
