How you’ll have an impact at La Marzocco: 

This detail and quality-focused individual will inspect and prepare La Marzocco Espresso Machines for shipment by identifying damage, leaks, and electrical problems, troubleshooting and repairing found issues, and packaging machines after inspection. A Quality Assurance Associate will bring a high aptitude for detail and accuracy, sharing information within the team, and exemplifying safety standards in all aspects of their work.

As a Quality Assurance Associate, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Inspecting Espresso Machines for damage, defects and failures and logging issues found.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing machines to meet quality standards.
  • Taking inventory counts, stocking inventory from inbound shipments, and updating systems accordingly.  
  • Examining containers, products, and materials for quality control and ensuring packing requirements are met.
  • Helping to maintain a clean and safe warehouse and following safety rules.

The details: 

  • Location: Spring, TX, not eligible for remote work
  • Hiring Range: $22.00-$24.00/hour, with 5% bonus opportunity
  • Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week
  • Reports to: QA and Logistics Supervisor
  • Physical requirements: Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, walking at a quick pace, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting and moving up to 80 pounds. Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

 What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an electrical/mechanical technician. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods.
  • Strong knowledge Warehouse Best Practices, including forklift and pallet jack operation
  • Ability to assess products for quality assurance
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to get tasks done efficiently and timely
  • Strong teamwork skills, ability to be flexible and switch tasks as needed
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Spanish speaking a plus!
