How you’ll have an impact at Markibar

The Country Manager will build the sales structure to make the product available in USA, develop and implement sales strategies and create an effective marketing strategy. The role will be responsible for achieving the yearly sales budget and generating sustainable sales in the country.

This position will need to travel around the different regions visiting key partners and developing sales relationships with key accounts. Being close to all needs of importers and distributors and facilitating the interface with the organization in Spain will be key.

As a Country Manager, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

-          Travel to main cities to follow up sales and support importers and dealers

-          Train and motivate sales teams of importers and distributors. Facilitate sales tools and pay attention to their necessities

-          Take the necessary sales initiatives with national key accounts to promote our grinding solutions and generate global sales deals.

-          Negotiating global agreements with national key accounts

-          Organize sales events and trade shows

-          Monitor sales and marketing activities

-          Reporting market needs and opportunities to head office

 

What experience, qualifications and skills you’ll offer

-          High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree would be a plus

-          Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales and business development within espresso equipment industry

-          Results-driven personality

-          Existing portfolio of contacts and customers (nationwide)

-          Passion for coffee and sense of belonging to the coffee industry community

-          Barista skills, understanding espresso brewing

-          Entrepreneurial spirit

-          Motivation to achieve great challenges

-          Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Public speaking

-          Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail

-          Current driver’s license and clean driving record

-          Bi-Lingual - English/Spanish a plus

 

 Job details:

·         Location: East coast (preferred)

·         Compensation Range: $70,000 - $80,000 Base yearly + very attractive commission (High OTE)

·         Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; Position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends to attend events or trade shows.

·         Reports to: Global Sales Director

·         Travel: more than 50%
