Topeca Coffee is looking to add a full-time coffee professional to our production team to assist in production roasting as well as commercial cold brewing and canning.  Roasting Technicians work as part of the Production Roasting Team, operating commercial coffee roasting equipment, to produce roasted coffees to fulfill daily orders and maintain weekly pars. Roasting Technicians are trained and expected to follow specified product recipes and roasting profiles, utilizing roast profiling and data logging software to achieve consistent results and meet quality standards. As Cold Brew Technician, this individual will also operate Topeca's expanding cold brew production line, brewing and canning ready-to-drink coffee products.  If you are a quality-driven individual, who is self-motivated, loves solving problems, and who wants to pursue the craft of specialty coffee production, then come join our team!

Position Summary Assist in the production of coffee and tea under supervision of the Head Roaster. Participate in all tasks and activities associated with coffee roasting facility operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:   Control and maintain roasting equipment to roast coffee beans in accordance with the Company’s roast curves. Consistently produces Café Virtuoso quality roasted beans. Record all roasting data in Cropster and the Company database. Take regular inventory of roasted coffee and work with Production Supervisor and Customer Service Supervisor to develop weekly roast plans Take weekly inventory of green coffee and assist in preparing green coffee orders.
