How you’ll have an impact at La Marzocco: 

The Technical Account Representative, South Central Region, will support and assist in fulfilling La Marzocco’s mission to provide technical training, product education & promotion, technical resource development, and parts sales & support to our customers in the Region. This position will also perform Quality Assurance processes at the La Marzocco Spring, TX Warehouse, and collaborates closely with La Marzocco USA’s Sales, Technical Solutions and Marketing teams.

 

As a Technical Account Rep, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

·         Provide mentorship, technical development, and be the trusted resource for all LM USA 3rd party technicians in the region. Provide Technical Product information across all LM USA products.

·         Provide in-person Technical Training Classes in the SC region for individuals and groups.

·         Assist Sales, Marketing and Management with regional and national trade shows & events.

·         Work with the SC Regional Sales Representative to maintain ongoing partner support and ensure partners are consistently highly satisfied and engaged with LM products.

·         Work with the Sales and the Technical Solutions departments to identify and solve recurring tech support issues with our partners.

·         Support the Spring facility by performing Machine Quality Assurance processes, quality control testing, maintenance of the training center/lab, and managing local parts inventory.  

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         At least 3 years of specialty coffee industry experience, tools-in-hand servicing and training usage on traditional espresso machines, grinders and water conditioning systems.

·         Experience leading instructional content in a classroom setting.

·         Expertise in diagnosing and solving plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and water quality-related problems in espresso systems.

·         Deep familiarity with La Marzocco products and organization is a plus.

·         Organized, driven, high attention to detail and self-motivated with sound judgment. Can work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that is very customer-centric.

·         Experience with Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP or other inventory management software; Salesforce or other CRM, handheld devices; and the ability to learn new software.

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfort with public speaking and engaging with diverse populations.

·         Current driver’s license and clean driving record.

·         Bi-Lingual - English/Spanish a plus.

 

The details: 

·         Location: Spring, TX

·         Compensation Range: $65,000-$75,000 annual base salary depending on experience, with 5% bonus opportunity

·         Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; Position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends to attend events and trainings.

·         Reports to:  Vice President Operations/Houston QA Supervisor    

·         Frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

·         Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

·         The ability to work in different environments, such as warehouses, is required.

·         Travel: up to 40% travel within SC Territory.
