Catalyst Trade is looking for a charismatic, detail-oriented person who loves helping people be successful and is equally in love with coffee. Specifically, Ethiopian coffee!
This role is essential for the success of our international importing company. You'll work closely with our CEO, Emily McIntyre, and with our Customer Support and Account Management teams on a variety of tasks including managing a growing list of coffee roaster customers through regular outreach, gathering forecasts, and helping them find their best coffee fits. As well, you'll perform outreach to bring new folks in the Catalyst door and will spend a fair amount of time staying deeply tuned into the coffees we are sourcing and selling.
This is an on-site, Portland, Oregon-based job. We will assist the right candidate to move, but please don't apply unless you see yourself spending several years in our inner SE office!
Qualified candidates should have background in all or part of the following roles: Wholesale Coffee Sales, Green Coffee Sales, Coffee Buying, Coffee Roasting, Coffee Quality Control, and other coffee sales/production related roles. We are looking for professional coffee candidates who have a strong understanding of coffee valuation and the coffee marketplace.
